Sato Koichi is hailed as Japan's "Color Magician." His works are filled with explorations of artistic expression in graphic design, and their printing represents the pinnacle of Japanese craftsmanship. He once said, "When thinking about graphic design, one should first set aside the various designs it presents and the information it conveys, and instead appreciate its beauty as an 'object with ink on paper.'"

Two years after Sato Koichi's passing, his wife, Sato Keiko, gifted his posters to students in China, creating the opportunity for this exhibition. The spatial designer used strings to secure the posters, suspending them in the air and away from the wall. This allows viewers to observe the thickness, translucency, and gloss of the ink from different angles, such as the sides or the back. The posters are thus re-examined as "objects," imbuing them with a tangible sense of weight.
