Du Xiao graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo and began working at Dentsu Inc. in Tokyo as an art director in the same year. His clients included Toyota, Canon, Mitsui Sumitomo Bank, and others. In 2014, he returned to China, serving clients such as Coca-Cola, Bank of China, CITIC Bank, OPPO, Microsoft, Vivo, Meituan, Shangri-La Group, OCT Group, Chua Lam's Catering, Rifeng Group, Gemdale Group, Times Property, Exception Garments, Founder Type Library, and more. In 2019, he curated the exhibition "Words Carrying China: The Chinese Fine Fonts Project" at the National Museum of China. In 2021, he was commissioned by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region to curate the exhibition "Spirit and Nature: The Graphic Design of Koichi Sato."
