兰斋并不囿于传统的素食文化和东方文化,怀着对自然的敬畏之心不断地探索植物料理的可能性,在开业三年内获得米其林二星,亚洲50最佳餐厅等荣誉。早在餐厅筹划之际,设计团队便参与其中,了解兰斋的理念与主张,在品牌设计中追求克制而统一的形色质感,给予食客更为细致的体验。
标识由“兰斎”两字上下排列组成,发挥了中文的图形化特征,使其成为一枚标志性的章纹。两字分别以简繁体呼应,寓意着古今的交错与对话。未被使用的茶末被回收混入纸浆制成纸张,承载着植物的另一种生命形态。兰斋使用这种茶纸制作了菜单、茶酒单、纸袋等纸品。菜单的造型轻盈优雅,考虑了定食的就餐流程,可以跟随一道道菜品的呈现翻页阅读,亦可展开了解整套餐式的搭配。建筑外立面黑竖木纹延续到了器物之上,餐盒由“盖”“碟”“碗”三部分组件构成,可根据菜品选择合适的器型并组合收纳,展现了东方食器的灵活性。
这些材质与结构的选择使设计从单一的视觉表现中解放出来。触摸的质感,使用的方式,以及自然的气息等等,它们共同传递出兰斋返璞的理念。
The logo features the characters ‘兰斎’ arranged vertically, forming an iconic seal pattern. The characters appear in simplified and traditional Chinese representing the dialogue between past and present. Recycled tea leaves are blended into pulp to create paper that embodies another form of plant life. Lamdre uses this tea paper for menus, paper bags, and other stationery. The menus in accordion binding designed for formal dining. It can be flipped through as each course is served, unfolding to present the full meal's composition. The takeaway box combines three separate parts – lid, plate, and bowl – allowing selection and combination of vessels suited to each dish, showing the adaptability of Eastern tableware.
This project is not only a simple visual expression. The touchable textures, the manner of use, and the natural atmosphere collectively convey Lamdre philosophy of returning to simplicity.
