Du Xiao
Art Director, Co-founder
Du Xiao was born in Beijing and graduated from the Graphic Design Department of Tama Art University in Tokyo, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree. In the same year, he joined Dentsu (Tokyo) as a graphic designer. In 2014, he became part of wx-design and was promoted to partner at its Beijing office the following year. As an art director, Du Xiao has provided design services for a wide range of enterprises, including Toyota, Canon, Coca-Cola, Bank of China, OPPO, Chua Lam's Catering, Rifeng Group, and Foundertype, covering areas such as brand building and packaging design. Additionally, as a curator and planner, he has led the curation and organization of projects such as the "Chinese Masterpiece Fonts Project" at the National Museum of China and the exhibition "Spirit and Nature: The Graphic Design of Kōichi Sato." In 2024, Du Xiao founded the design exchange platform Omokro, aiming to inspire a new generation to embark on their design journeys by uncovering the stories of Asian designers. In 2026, he co-founded HYS Design, where he currently serves as a co-founder and art director.
